I’m heading out soon for my very first gig as keynote speaker; in New Orleans of all places!  My favorite city in the world (tied closely with Sedona and Salem.)  In my annual letter to Santa, I mentioned wanting to see New Orleans and Sedona again this year, and both are already lined up.  I also told my favorite gift giver that I wanted to finally get to be a keynote speaker this year, and lo and behold, that’s happening too.  I really love my annual Dear Santa letter!

So I’m speaking on Saturday, lunch-hour, at the Fantasy on the Bayou conference.  I’ll be tweeting from there if I can manage it.  My iPad is going with me.  (I don’t leave home without it.)  And on Sunday I allowed a few hours of extra time to ramble around the French Quarter, because I love it there.  It’ll be good to see it again, my first time back since Katrina.  And my first time without my bff by my side, all because she had some previous plans with her husband.  ::Pout::
